Revision as of 22:07, 3 April 2016 by KyleAuble (talk | contribs) (I'll definitely add a disclaimer first chance I get)

Info about the new "bash on Windows 10" support that's coming needs to be added, if only to tell users that no, it doesn't mean they'll be able to install Wine in bash on Windows 10 and use it to run their 16 bit games on 64 bit Windows. (Yes, a user has already jumped to that conclusion.) --RosanneDiMesio (talk) 08:03, 3 April 2016 (CDT)

Oh wow, thanks for mentioning this; I hadn't even heard about it yet. I'll be sure to add it to the disclaimers, especially that it can't even handle Windows or Linux executables including Wine (if I understand it correctly).
I'll probably note it further down in the developer-ideas section too though. It looks like the lower-level Windows Subsystem for Linux part is pretty much a reformulated SUA core... and just when I was writing that it was probably doomed to fall into ruins. It's an interesting surprise for sure. -- KyleAuble (talk) 17:07, 3 April 2016 (CDT)
