Running Adobe InDesign on Wine

Searching Google for "Adobe InDesign" finds about four million hits (behind Illustrator (9 million) and Photoshop (50 million)). Its sales rank on Amazon is only 800 or so. Still, some versions of Adobe InDesign have at times run well on Wine, and it would be nice to solidify that support. And a few people I've talked to consider this a key application they would need to bring with them to Linux.

Known Issues

InDesign 2 seems to work. InDesign CS runs if you remove the file Program Files/Adobe/InDesign CS Trial/Plug-Ins/Script/Support for Visual Basic.apln; that's bug 9043. InDesign CS2 and CS3 do not yet work.
